Narrative:
On visual approach to runway 9 at key. After normal touchdown on main landing gear, nosewheel lowered to runway. I applied brakes and aircraft suddenly veered to left off the runway. I tried to correct and aircraft departed right side of runway. FAA/NTSB preliminary report categorizes damage as 'minor,' and the intent is to categorize this as an incident, not an accident.
