Narrative:
The purpose of the flight on 04/sat/03 was to sight see the city of los angeles. After flying through los angeles and over the queen mary, I decided to land at ful airport. From my previous flight on 03/sat/03 to ful airport, I did receive the information that tfr was active for disneyland from ful ATIS. I only have flown into ful airport 3 times, and I'm not completely familiar with the area. When I was flying in from queen mary to ful airport, I was attempting not to fly through lgb or sna airspace. When I flew between lgb and sna, I really thought that disneyland was farther southeast from my location. I was initially flying 3000 ft MSL over lgb. After double checking the floor/ceiling of sna airspace (2500 to 4000 ft), I decided to descend below 2500 ft MSL to avoid sna's airspace (in case I got blown by winds or loss track of my position). I honestly did not know that I was that close to disneyland tfr. I hope this statement helps clear up any difficulties that might arise from this situation. Thank you.

Title: PA28 PLT TRANSITS THE DISNEYLAND TFR (FDC 3/2123 OF 18 MARCH 2003) ENRTE TO FUL.
Narrative: THE PURPOSE OF THE FLT ON 04/SAT/03 WAS TO SIGHT SEE THE CITY OF LOS ANGELES. AFTER FLYING THROUGH LOS ANGELES AND OVER THE QUEEN MARY, I DECIDED TO LAND AT FUL ARPT. FROM MY PREVIOUS FLT ON 03/SAT/03 TO FUL ARPT, I DID RECEIVE THE INFO THAT TFR WAS ACTIVE FOR DISNEYLAND FROM FUL ATIS. I ONLY HAVE FLOWN INTO FUL AIRPORT 3 TIMES, AND I'M NOT COMPLETELY FAMILIAR WITH THE AREA. WHEN I WAS FLYING IN FROM QUEEN MARY TO FUL ARPT, I WAS ATTEMPTING NOT TO FLY THROUGH LGB OR SNA AIRSPACE. WHEN I FLEW BETWEEN LGB AND SNA, I REALLY THOUGHT THAT DISNEYLAND WAS FARTHER SE FROM MY LOCATION. I WAS INITIALLY FLYING 3000 FT MSL OVER LGB. AFTER DOUBLE CHKING THE FLOOR/CEILING OF SNA AIRSPACE (2500 TO 4000 FT), I DECIDED TO DESCEND BELOW 2500 FT MSL TO AVOID SNA'S AIRSPACE (IN CASE I GOT BLOWN BY WINDS OR LOSS TRACK OF MY POSITION). I HONESTLY DID NOT KNOW THAT I WAS THAT CLOSE TO DISNEYLAND TFR. I HOPE THIS STATEMENT HELPS CLEAR UP ANY DIFFICULTIES THAT MIGHT ARISE FROM THIS SIT. THANK YOU.
