Narrative:
I was doing touch-and-go landing practice with my student. It was a low traffic day, and I was the only plane in the pattern. I was on downwind for the runway and tower had not yet cleared me to land. I was about to call tower to remind them, but my student asked me a question and I forgot to call tower. They never cleared me to land, but I forgot and landed anyway. After I took off, I realized that I had not been cleared to land. I did not need to take any corrective actions, and continued in the pattern for 5 more lndgs. This could have been prevented if tower was more vigilant with planes in the pattern, and if I paid more attention to their failure to clear me to land.
