Narrative:

Crew had been extended to deadhead to pick up an aircraft and the deadheading flight. Didn't wait for us because of the counter person not informing the crew. Then we had to wait another hour to get the deadheading flight. We finally got to mdt about XA30. Preflted and took off back to phl. We got in, headed up and were pushed back for departure. My first officer and I had not flown together before our 2 day trip, so we were thus far doing everything carefully, due to our lack of knowledge of each other's habits. During the initial takeoff roll, we had the takeoff warning horn sound, so we stopped and taxied back and found a switch out of position. Corrected that and took off without further events. This switch (the ecu to top switch) was missed on either the arrival or before start checklists. Both had been performed, but as is usual, we had several interruptions to the flow of checklists by outside interference such as radio calls or ground support or ramp people. None of these outside items should affect the proper flow of checklists when you put them together with our crew time being extended, then delayed and also the back drop of the bank and give backs and questions about our company's future. We have a lot of outside distrs.
