Narrative:
Landed at toledo, oh (tol) to have scheduled maintenance performed on aircraft. On final approach, prior to landing, I discussed the location of FBO with the tower operator. The indication, which was proper, was the facility was located on the right side of runway 25 which was the landing runway. I looked at the airport diagram and determined I would be capable of making the first taxiway after crossing runway 34. This proved to be correct, however I inadvertently made the right turn on runway 34 prior to reaching the taxiway. The tower operator brought this to my attention. There was no other traffic involved in the air or on the ground which was involved with this situation. The cause of this situation was only myself. Close attention to all flight detail is essential for the safety of all phases of aircraft operation. I have given this much thought to fully realize the flight is not over until the aircraft is shut down and the wheels are chocked.
Original NASA ASRS Text
Title: AC690 LNDG TOL EXITED THE RWY ONTO ANOTHER RWY WITHOUT ATC CLRNC.
Narrative: LANDED AT TOLEDO, OH (TOL) TO HAVE SCHEDULED MAINT PERFORMED ON ACFT. ON FINAL APCH, PRIOR TO LNDG, I DISCUSSED THE LOCATION OF FBO WITH THE TWR OPERATOR. THE INDICATION, WHICH WAS PROPER, WAS THE FACILITY WAS LOCATED ON THE R SIDE OF RWY 25 WHICH WAS THE LNDG RWY. I LOOKED AT THE ARPT DIAGRAM AND DETERMINED I WOULD BE CAPABLE OF MAKING THE FIRST TXWY AFTER XING RWY 34. THIS PROVED TO BE CORRECT, HOWEVER I INADVERTENTLY MADE THE R TURN ON RWY 34 PRIOR TO REACHING THE TXWY. THE TWR OPERATOR BROUGHT THIS TO MY ATTN. THERE WAS NO OTHER TFC INVOLVED IN THE AIR OR ON THE GND WHICH WAS INVOLVED WITH THIS SIT. THE CAUSE OF THIS SIT WAS ONLY MYSELF. CLOSE ATTN TO ALL FLT DETAIL IS ESSENTIAL FOR THE SAFETY OF ALL PHASES OF ACFT OP. I HAVE GIVEN THIS MUCH THOUGHT TO FULLY REALIZE THE FLT IS NOT OVER UNTIL THE ACFT IS SHUT DOWN AND THE WHEELS ARE CHOCKED.
