Narrative:
After landing and arrival at gate, we found 2 cowling access doors open. Minor damage to bottom right side of left engine cowling. It appeared the doors came open on landing and when reverser was stowed the open access doors cut a very small portion of the cowling. Departure airport was ZZZ1 international. As always, I made a very thorough preflight of aircraft. I clearly remember checking the left engine intake, exhaust, left and right side of cowling. On the right side of the left engine, I squatted down to check for fuel and hydraulic leakage and lower access panels. They were definitely closed.
