Narrative:
After passing deleal intersection from NAS to mia, approach pointed out traffic to our 12 O'clock position. I replied we were looking for traffic and negative contact. I then spotted the traffic and indicated a TA. I reported we were turning to the left to avoid traffic. Miami approach requested a right turn or climb immediately. We turned back to the right and the traffic was headed directly for us. So we turned back left immediately and climbed, missing a midair contact. Nothing else was said.
