Narrative:
On ILS runway 25L approach at lax between gaate and hunda intxns we received 'descend' TCASII RA. We were on the VNAV path in IMC conditions. We told socal approach we were descending in response to an RA without regard to required altitudes. Socal responded that we had traffic on a 'close parallel approach' and that our descent was approved. We were about 1/2 DOT below GS prior to hunda. I don't know if we were below 3500 ft prior to hunda or 3200 ft prior to GS. We were in visual conditions prior to limma and could see the source of our continuing RA. An aircraft apparently well established on approach to runway 24R. The TCASII displayed a red diamond 400 ft above us, abeam, to the right. The TCASII guidance took us to 1/3 to 1/2 DOT low until it went away at approximately 1000 ft.

Title: A B737 FLT ON A SIMULTANEOUS PARALLEL APCH, RWYS 25L AND 24R, DSNDS IN ACCORD WITH A TCASII RA AND GOES BELOW THE ALT XING RESTR SET FOR HUNDA INTXN E OF LAX, CA.
Narrative: ON ILS RWY 25L APCH AT LAX BTWN GAATE AND HUNDA INTXNS WE RECEIVED 'DSND' TCASII RA. WE WERE ON THE VNAV PATH IN IMC CONDITIONS. WE TOLD SOCAL APCH WE WERE DSNDING IN RESPONSE TO AN RA WITHOUT REGARD TO REQUIRED ALTS. SOCAL RESPONDED THAT WE HAD TFC ON A 'CLOSE PARALLEL APCH' AND THAT OUR DSCNT WAS APPROVED. AN ACFT APPARENTLY WELL ESTABLISHED ON APCH TO RWY 24R. THE TCASII DISPLAYED A RED DIAMOND 400 FT ABOVE US, ABEAM, TO THE R. THE TCASII GUIDANCE TOOK US TO 1/3 TO 1/2 DOT LOW UNTIL IT WENT AWAY AT APPROX 1000 FT.
