Narrative:

After takeoff in iowa, noticed alternator fluctuate back and forth, then noticed main gear 2 green and nose gear out with gear handle up. Cycled gear, no response, got back out and did emergency extend procedure -- did not get gear nose green. Flew over mke tower, gear looked down and good. Landed, got nose green. Stopped, got permission to get out on runway. Checked gear, all 3 down from outside view, and 3 green in cockpit taxi, and had FBO mechanic look at gear and open panels. He notified all 3 gear down and looked and ok to fly to buu, about 20 mi away. Gear down. Not problem in barlington. Note: flew mke to buu with gear extended.
