Narrative:
Aircraft was upset by wake turbulence from a heavy 777. Aircraft rolled 45 degrees to the right and gained 100 ft. Then rolled 45 degrees to the left and lost 200 ft before being recovered. Distance estimate was the B777 was estimated to be 7-10 mi. Both aircraft were in level flight.

Title: AN MLG CPR CAPT RPTED THAT A B777 CAUSED AN UPSET WHICH RESULTED IN HIS ACFT ROLLING 45 DEGS TO THE L AND THEN THE R IN ZNY AIRSPACE.
Narrative: ACFT WAS UPSET BY WAKE TURB FROM A HVY 777. ACFT ROLLED 45 DEGS TO THE R AND GAINED 100 FT. THEN ROLLED 45 DEGS TO THE L AND LOST 200 FT BEFORE BEING RECOVERED. DISTANCE ESTIMATE WAS THE B777 WAS ESTIMATED TO BE 7-10 MI. BOTH ACFT WERE IN LEVEL FLT.
