Narrative:

I was changing nose taxi light, and then discovered left runway turnoff light inoperative also, then changed turnoff light. In hurrying to test lights and dispatch aircraft on time, forgot screw driver that I laid on nose gear near break over arm. Aircraft departed on time. Noticed screw driver missing on next job. Researched back to last used. Tried to recall aircraft, already off ground. Don't lay tools on aircraft. My decision to lay tools on aircraft, improper. My inaction to properly inspect for all tools prior to leaving job site, wrong.
