Narrative:
Took off from midway, on runway 31C using the midway four departure. The SID calls for all turns to be made within 4 mi. We were at 6 mi. We were also below class B airspace and our speed was 240 KTS. This was why the turn was overshot by 2 mi. A good brief of the SID and the surrounding airspace in the future will avoid this from happening again in the future. The sic was flying from left seat at the time.
