Narrative:
When receiving clearance for pwm, we were told twice to delete harp intersection from flight plan. Flew flight plan without harp. Then, approach asked us if we were direct lga. They said harp should not have been removed. In the end portland clearance gave us bad information for our flight. Harp should have been left in according to ny.

Title: A CL65 CAPT RPTED THAT THEY DELETED HARP INTXN AT THE REQUEST OF PWM ONLY TO FIND THAT N90 EXPECTED THEM TO UTILIZE HARP.
Narrative: WHEN RECEIVING CLRNC FOR PWM, WE WERE TOLD TWICE TO DELETE HARP INTXN FROM FLT PLAN. FLEW FLT PLAN WITHOUT HARP. THEN, APCH ASKED US IF WE WERE DIRECT LGA. THEY SAID HARP SHOULD NOT HAVE BEEN REMOVED. IN THE END PORTLAND CLRNC GAVE US BAD INFO FOR OUR FLT. HARP SHOULD HAVE BEEN LEFT IN ACCORDING TO NY.
