Narrative:
Arrived at gate from tul. Just after completing the parking checklist a sudden impact was felt when I looked right and saw a blue catering truck. The captain queried the flight attendant and asked if everyone was ok, no injuries reported. The passenger deplaned normally through the cabin door. Postflt inspection reveals a gash 3 ft forward of the service door, the aircraft skin was punctured. Operations and maintenance were notified immediately.
