Narrative:
Inbound to ZZZ airport, ZZZ airport was deteriorating rapidly with hail on the field and in the area. We were talking to approach control. Due to the fact of the conditions in the area, I elected to land in a farm field outside of ZZZ control zone. Landed aircraft and secured for the WX/hail to pass. Departed the following day.
