Narrative:
I was being vectored for the ILS runway 27 in memphis. ATC kept us high, then at 4000 ft and 2 mi from verty, 250 KTS, cleared us for the approach. I had to descend rapidly to catch the GS. I lowered the landing gear and deployed the flight spoilers. I did not get the aircraft configured for landing until 100 ft above the runway. I landed more than halfway down the runway. I stopped abruptly and made a normal turnoff at the end. This event was witnessed by a company crj and an A310 crew. I was not in a position to land as per the flight crew operations manual and was generally in a dangerous situation. We were running late and I was attempting to get down quickly so the passenger could make their connection.
