Narrative:
Aircraft ferried from ZZZ to ZZZ1. The #2 engine inlet had a scab patch on it. It was on a 1 flight airworthiness release. My crew and myself changed the inlet, and I signed off the logbook write-up. The airplane was scheduled to go to the line for a check. I didn't sign off on airworthiness, because I thought it would be done at the line after the check. The airplane had a overnight layover check, which does not require a airworthiness. I should have signed off the airworthiness release after the maintenance I did.
