Narrative:
After doing our landing safety checks and sitting in my jumpseat, a deadheading flight attendant told me that the passenger in coach got on his hands and knees, rummaging around under his seat. We were concerned that he was placing something dangerous like a bomb under there when he saw the deadheading flight attendant looking at him. He ran up to first class, which we assume was his originally assigned seat. I walked up to him and asked what he was doing and he replied 'spanish, no english.' I could hear no accent which made me think he just didn't want to talk to me. I reported it to the captain after we landed and he called for a security check. Everything checked out ok.
