Narrative:
My first officer who is captain qualified was in the left seat taxiing the aircraft for takeoff. I was handling all radio communication with ground control and tower. We were cleared to taxi to runway 29R but hold short of runway 24L. The tower cleared us to cross runway 24L and into position runway 24R. ATIS had informed us runway 24C was closed. As we were crossing runway 24L. I was doing the line-up checklist. At that time I did not have normal check of the wing and tail anti-ice system. I was inside troubleshooting the anti-ice system as the PF lined up for takeoff. I had a normal check of the anti-ice system. At that time the tower said we were lined up on runway 24C which was closed due construction. We were instructed to taxi to runway 24R and cleared for takeoff. My troubleshooting distraction kept me from verifying the correct runway. In the future, no troubleshooting will be done by either pilot while taxiing the aircraft.

Title: A LEAR 60 FLT CREW BECOME DISTR WITH AN ANTI-ICE SYS CHK ANOMALY DURING TAXI, RESULTING IN THE ACFT LINING UP ON THE WRONG RWY.
Narrative: MY FO WHO IS CAPT QUALIFIED WAS IN THE L SEAT TAXIING THE ACFT FOR TKOF. I WAS HANDLING ALL RADIO COM WITH GND CTL AND TWR. WE WERE CLRED TO TAXI TO RWY 29R BUT HOLD SHORT OF RWY 24L. THE TWR CLRED US TO CROSS RWY 24L AND INTO POS RWY 24R. ATIS HAD INFORMED US RWY 24C WAS CLOSED. AS WE WERE XING RWY 24L. I WAS DOING THE LINE-UP CHKLIST. AT THAT TIME I DID NOT HAVE NORMAL CHK OF THE WING AND TAIL ANTI-ICE SYS. I WAS INSIDE TROUBLESHOOTING THE ANTI-ICE SYS AS THE PF LINED UP FOR TKOF. I HAD A NORMAL CHK OF THE ANTI-ICE SYS. AT THAT TIME THE TWR SAID WE WERE LINED UP ON RWY 24C WHICH WAS CLOSED DUE CONSTRUCTION. WE WERE INSTRUCTED TO TAXI TO RWY 24R AND CLRED FOR TKOF. MY TROUBLESHOOTING DISTR KEPT ME FROM VERIFYING THE CORRECT RWY. IN THE FUTURE, NO TROUBLESHOOTING WILL BE DONE BY EITHER PLT WHILE TAXIING THE ACFT.
