Narrative:
#1 engine -- on takeoff N1 did not reach takeoff power. Engine #1: N1 90%. Engine #2: N1 100%. Tried to match N1's by pushing up #1 throttle, but #1 egt increased to caution range (about 890). Retarded #1 throttle. At about that time, ECAM warning hp valve vault -0 off. #1 horse power valve switch selected off. #1 horse power switch fault light came on. ECAM nac advisory -- temperature 245 degrees, #1 engine loop 'B' light came on followed by fire indication on ECAM and overhead panel. Reduced #1 throttle to idle. Fire indication went out. Declared an emergency, returned to ZZZ. No indication of engine fire on landing, taxied to parking. Maintenance opened the engine and found ducting blown out with additional damage.
