Narrative:
While checking in at the podium with customer service, I was told very loudly and openly that I had 2 air marshals on board. The integrity of the program is confidentiality, which was breached. This is a very common occurrence. When I had customer service supervisor come out to explain the gravity of the situation, I was told that it was no big deal. It is a very big deal, the program needs discretion to work.

Title: A B767 CAPT RPTED THAT THE GATE AGENT LOUDLY DISCLOSED THE FACT THAT AIR MARSHALS WOULD BE PRESENT ON A FLT FROM SFO TO MIA.
Narrative: WHILE CHKING IN AT THE PODIUM WITH CUSTOMER SERVICE, I WAS TOLD VERY LOUDLY AND OPENLY THAT I HAD 2 AIR MARSHALS ON BOARD. THE INTEGRITY OF THE PROGRAM IS CONFIDENTIALITY, WHICH WAS BREACHED. THIS IS A VERY COMMON OCCURRENCE. WHEN I HAD CUSTOMER SERVICE SUPVR COME OUT TO EXPLAIN THE GRAVITY OF THE SIT, I WAS TOLD THAT IT WAS NO BIG DEAL. IT IS A VERY BIG DEAL, THE PROGRAM NEEDS DISCRETION TO WORK.
