Narrative:
Flight attendant did not receive her hotel wake up call. The hotel desk called her room and the remainder of the crew proceeded to the airport. 15 mins prior to departure, a uniformed non-revenue flight attendant volunteered to assist in boarding. I called the hotel and personally contacted the flight attendant. The original hotel desk call to her was made to the wrong room. Now short 1 flight attendant, I called dispatch about working non-revenue flight attendant on this trip. Dispatch called crew tracking and discovered that flight attendant's qualifications do not apply on this aircraft. Tracking stated that the aircraft was illegally boarded due to a non-revenue flight attendant's qualifications.
