Narrative:
Aircraft Y was sbound at FL350, pxv.WLDER5.mem. Aircraft Y was handed off and shipped to ZME approximately 10 mi north of pxv. Aircraft X, inbound to cmh at FL370, had multiple traffic ahead at FL370 and so was descended to FL350, overlooking aircraft Y as traffic. Upon realizing aircraft Y and aircraft X would be close, aircraft X was expedited to FL330 and turned 50 degrees right. Separation was lost. Supplemental information from acn 603301: northbound aircraft was descended from FL370 to FL350, putting it in conflict with sbound FL350 traffic. 50 degree right turn and descent to FL330 was issued to northbound aircraft. Sbound FL350 traffic was turned 30 degrees right.

Title: ZID RADAR CTLR OVERLOOKS TFC ON CONVERGING COURSES AND DSNDS A NBOUND ERJ-145 INTO THE PATH OF A SBOUND DC10.
Narrative: ACFT Y WAS SBOUND AT FL350, PXV.WLDER5.MEM. ACFT Y WAS HANDED OFF AND SHIPPED TO ZME APPROX 10 MI N OF PXV. ACFT X, INBOUND TO CMH AT FL370, HAD MULTIPLE TFC AHEAD AT FL370 AND SO WAS DSNDED TO FL350, OVERLOOKING ACFT Y AS TFC. UPON REALIZING ACFT Y AND ACFT X WOULD BE CLOSE, ACFT X WAS EXPEDITED TO FL330 AND TURNED 50 DEGS R. SEPARATION WAS LOST. SUPPLEMENTAL INFO FROM ACN 603301: NBOUND ACFT WAS DSNDED FROM FL370 TO FL350, PUTTING IT IN CONFLICT WITH SBOUND FL350 TFC. 50 DEG R TURN AND DSCNT TO FL330 WAS ISSUED TO NBOUND ACFT. SBOUND FL350 TFC WAS TURNED 30 DEGS R.
