Narrative:
As soon as we took off at ZZZ, I noticed unusual sound and vibration. The captain called us right away and informed me we're having a landing gear problem and going back to ZZZ. Also he asked us to follow the emergency checklist just in case. We had about 10 mins till landing. We, flight attendants, pulled the manual and followed the emergency checklist in order, which included demonstration, exit briefing and talking to the passenger. Around 280 ft from the ground, the captain gave us 'brace' sign. We shouted 'heads down, stay down' until everyone did so. We landed safely and aircraft was towed to the gate. There was no slide evacuate/evacuation. No one injured. All passenger got out to the terminal. Flight crew were deadheaded back to ZZZ1 after a couple of hours.
