Narrative:

2 hours into flight, captain called #1 flight attendant to come to cockpit. Then #1 flight attendant called back to us in main cabin that we would be landing in 15 mins. The problem was not to be a planned emergency, just be ready. We supposedly had a problem with a battery charger. The captain didn't feel it was a direct problem but that his manual said to land. So we got cabin ready and prepared to land. We landed at the military base and waited until airplane was checked outside for problems. No problem was found. We parked the plane and got passenger off plane and to a waiting area. We got word that we would wait for a new plane to come get us and we would fly back to ZZZ1. So we stayed for 6 hours with passenger in a waiting area. Then we were relieved when the new crew came. We had gone over our 15 hours on duty. We arrived back in ZZZ1 early morning on thursday.
