Narrative:
Smoke in cabin. 1 min after takeoff, the flight attendant reported a small amount of smoke in the cabin. We returned to dfw airport and landed uneventfully, under maximum landing weight. We taxied back to the gate. This was a third time write-up. No emergency was declared.

Title: MD80. FLT ATTENDANT DETECTED CHRONIC SMOKE IN THE CABIN AFTER TKOF.
Narrative: SMOKE IN CABIN. 1 MIN AFTER TKOF, THE FLT ATTENDANT RPTED A SMALL AMOUNT OF SMOKE IN THE CABIN. WE RETURNED TO DFW ARPT AND LANDED UNEVENTFULLY, UNDER MAX LNDG WT. WE TAXIED BACK TO THE GATE. THIS WAS A THIRD TIME WRITE-UP. NO EMER WAS DECLARED.
