Narrative:

After a diversion the day before, we ferried the aircraft back to ZZZ1 the next morning. I failed to insure the security check was completed by ZZZ personnel and did not realize this until I landed in ZZZ1. Operations was called after landing to insure the check was completed in ZZZ1. Callback conversation with reporter revealed the following information: the reporter stated in the rush to ferry the airplane to ZZZ1 the security check signoff was overlooked.
