Narrative:
I went on a field service trip to ZZZ from ZZZ1 with 1 other mechanic to change a leading edge slat actuator. We were directed to change the actuator by a card entered from maintenance control. We completed the job. FAA mandatory inspection item was not performed. Aircraft flew to ZZZ1. ZZZ1 inspection acp the FAA mandatory inspection item. No problems found.

Title: AN AIRBUS 319 HAD A LEADING EDGE SLAT ACTUATOR REPLACED 'OFF LINE' BY CARRIER TECHNICIANS. FAA MANDATORY REQUIRED INSPECTION NOT ACCOMPLISHED.
Narrative: I WENT ON A FIELD SVC TRIP TO ZZZ FROM ZZZ1 WITH 1 OTHER MECH TO CHANGE A LEADING EDGE SLAT ACTUATOR. WE WERE DIRECTED TO CHANGE THE ACTUATOR BY A CARD ENTERED FROM MAINT CTL. WE COMPLETED THE JOB. FAA MANDATORY INSPECTION ITEM WAS NOT PERFORMED. ACFT FLEW TO ZZZ1. ZZZ1 INSPECTION ACP THE FAA MANDATORY INSPECTION ITEM. NO PROBS FOUND.
