Narrative:
I was attempting to land on runway 4R (wind reported at 140 degrees, 10 KTS). Touched down alright, started weaving side-to-side across the runway. Ended up on the grass. Recovered by adding maximum power to attain control and lift. Was airborne again, and landed back on runway 4R. Cause of my momentary loss of directional control was the fact that I had insufficient wind correction input, got behind of the aircraft, poor approach to landing. I have sought additional flight instruction to become more safe and proficient in my luscombe 8F aircraft!
