Narrative:
Just prior to gate departure, the security coordinator for my flight from cdg-dfw brought up the security form for my signature. I asked as to the number of selectees, if any, on my flight and was told he did not have to tell me. I again asked since he did not have to tell me the number of selectees aboard my flight, would he tell me and had been told not to tell the captain the number of selectees on board the flight. I cannot read his name from the form, but his employee number is xyz. As the in-flight security coordinator, I feel this is important information which the security coordinator should know as to the security situation on his specific flight. If someone attacks my door or passenger (crew in flight), I would like to know if there are any individuals present who could be accomplices. Why are the capts not being told of the number of selectees on their flts?
