Narrative:

The night of feb/sat/04, myself and mr X were assigned to work aircraft X. Pilot reported #1 engine driven hydraulic pump low pressure light illuminated. Log page # xxxxx. We first opened the #1 engine cowling and then found the engine hydraulic pump leaking. We removed and replaced the engine hydraulic pump in accordance with maintenance manual 29-11-11. I felt the leaking hydraulic pump was the problem, so no further troubleshooting was required. We ran the engine to operations check and leak checked the pump. No problems were detected or noted. I signed off the log page by stating the pump had internally failed. I misworded that my intent was to say the pump was leaking, causing the low pressure light in the cockpit.
