Narrative:

Flight to sfo. I was notified that we had a female passenger placed on oxygen, complaining of chest pains. She thought the oxygen was helping and had a history of angina. Requested an ambulance upon arrival. I coordinated the ambulance and notified the station and dispatch. We were then given holding at pye with an efc of 1 hour. I asked the 'a' flight attendant to coordinate with the passenger as to whether that would be ok. She then said it wouldn't work and she needed to go to the hospital. We were in the descent at that time. I declared an emergency and made an uneventful landing at sfo. Paramedics met the airplane. Passenger taken to hospital.
