Narrative:
Upon landing on runway 27L at sbgr, after being cleared across runway 27R on taxiway G, flight crew was late switching over to the ground frequency (126.9) from tower frequency (132.75). There was no conflict with other ground traffic or other aircraft. Flight entered the apron area and was late switching to the ground frequency, was contacted by tower frequency and told again to switch to ground frequency. Contacted ground and apologized for late frequency change. The ground controller advised us to switch frequency earlier next time and indicated there was no further problem. No further conflict or actions taken. Supplemental information from acn 617301: I was busy with postflt duties, especially talking to company operations (gate change and requesting the station manager to meet us at the gate to talk about an approach controller issue).
Original NASA ASRS Text
Title: A TAXIING AND DISTR B767-300 FLT CREW FORGETS TO SWITCH TO SBGR, GND CTL AND IS REMINDED OF THAT FACT BY THE TWR CTLR.
Narrative: UPON LNDG ON RWY 27L AT SBGR, AFTER BEING CLRED ACROSS RWY 27R ON TXWY G, FLT CREW WAS LATE SWITCHING OVER TO THE GND FREQ (126.9) FROM TWR FREQ (132.75). THERE WAS NO CONFLICT WITH OTHER GND TFC OR OTHER ACFT. FLT ENTERED THE APRON AREA AND WAS LATE SWITCHING TO THE GND FREQ, WAS CONTACTED BY TWR FREQ AND TOLD AGAIN TO SWITCH TO GND FREQ. CONTACTED GND AND APOLOGIZED FOR LATE FREQ CHANGE. THE GND CTLR ADVISED US TO SWITCH FREQ EARLIER NEXT TIME AND INDICATED THERE WAS NO FURTHER PROB. NO FURTHER CONFLICT OR ACTIONS TAKEN. SUPPLEMENTAL INFO FROM ACN 617301: I WAS BUSY WITH POSTFLT DUTIES, ESPECIALLY TALKING TO COMPANY OPS (GATE CHANGE AND REQUESTING THE STATION MGR TO MEET US AT THE GATE TO TALK ABOUT AN APCH CTLR ISSUE).
