Narrative:

Air carrier X and air carrier Y both handed off to ZNY, heading toward departure fixes 4 mi apart. Air carrier Y was switched to ZNY (frequency). Remained in communication with air carrier Y. Air carrier X turned toward air carrier Y. I turned air carrier Y and called traffic. I then called ZNY who stated the pilot turned on his own and they were climbing him.

Narrative: ACR X AND ACR Y BOTH HANDED OFF TO ZNY, HDG TOWARD DEP FIXES 4 MI APART. ACR Y WAS SWITCHED TO ZNY (FREQ). REMAINED IN COM WITH ACR Y. ACR X TURNED TOWARD ACR Y. I TURNED ACR Y AND CALLED TFC. I THEN CALLED ZNY WHO STATED THE PLT TURNED ON HIS OWN AND THEY WERE CLBING HIM.
