Narrative:

During the climb out, both crewmembers were distraction with another route change from ATC. Our standard 1000 ft call was missed and we continued climbing out to 1000 ft over assigned altitude. The autoplt was not engaged. Altitude select was selected on the flight director controller. ATC advised of deviation and assigned higher altitude. No conflict or RA on TCAS. Factors affecting human performance: 2 hours and 48 min delay before engine start in teb. Pressure on taking off within a certain time frame before indefinite hold. Change of runway/briefing. Change of route on climb out.
