Narrative:
After takeoff, flight attendants reported smoke in the cabin. We declared an emergency. We requested vectors back to the abq airport. We did an approach and landing without any problems. The airplane had a smooth overweight landing at 131000 pounds. Fire trucks checked the airplane over. Next we taxied to the gate.

Narrative: AFTER TKOF, FLT ATTENDANTS RPTED SMOKE IN THE CABIN. WE DECLARED AN EMER. WE REQUESTED VECTORS BACK TO THE ABQ ARPT. WE DID AN APCH AND LNDG WITHOUT ANY PROBS. THE AIRPLANE HAD A SMOOTH OVERWT LNDG AT 131000 LBS. FIRE TRUCKS CHKED THE AIRPLANE OVER. NEXT WE TAXIED TO THE GATE.
