Narrative:

During takeoff, right engine temperature exceeded normal. Throttle reduced to keep in normal range. Coordination with departure to return to iah. Engine parameters were normal after takeoff. No emergency was declared. Landing was uneventful. Supplemental information from acn 622302: on takeoff in iah, #2 engine went to 994C for 5 seconds, pulled back throttle to within limits. Talked to dispatch and maintenance control and decided to do an air return to iah due to high temperature. The engine remained within limits at all times. Notified passenger and flight attendants. Landed with no problems.
