Narrative:

While shooting VOR 24 to pou, my flying partner (the PIC) misread the approach chart and mistakenly put in the wrong altitude in the altitude alerter. I flew down to it and was advised of a low altitude alert from pou tower. At the time we were in VMC and no other conflict was noted. One problem the corporate world has, is that there is only 1 set of plates for the aircraft so as a PF, total reliance is on the other guy.

Title: LR60 CREW OVERSHOT THE ALT AFTER THE PNF SET THE WRONG ALT IN THE ALT ALERT. THE COMPANY DOES NOT PROVIDE BOTH PLTS WITH APCH PLATES.

Narrative: WHILE SHOOTING VOR 24 TO POU, MY FLYING PARTNER (THE PIC) MISREAD THE APCH CHART AND MISTAKENLY PUT IN THE WRONG ALT IN THE ALT ALERTER. I FLEW DOWN TO IT AND WAS ADVISED OF A LOW ALT ALERT FROM POU TWR. AT THE TIME WE WERE IN VMC AND NO OTHER CONFLICT WAS NOTED. ONE PROB THE CORPORATE WORLD HAS, IS THAT THERE IS ONLY 1 SET OF PLATES FOR THE ACFT SO AS A PF, TOTAL RELIANCE IS ON THE OTHER GUY.
