Narrative:
Aircraft X was assigned a heading for in-trail spacing to cvg. Aircraft Y was sbound at FL290 landing bna. 3 other cvg arrs were in front of aircraft X with aircraft Z on a vector for spacing at 260 KTS, whom aircraft X would follow. Aircraft xx was a luk arrival from the west who was descended to FL270 under aircraft zz, another bna arrival at FL280 in front of aircraft Y. Aircraft xx was between aircraft Z and aircraft X, with enough space between aircraft Z and aircraft X, aircraft X was issued a 70 degree heading (approximately 60 degree turn) and slowed to 260 KTS to stay in line. Was then turned back on the arrival behind the aircraft X in front of him. Conflict alert activated between aircraft X (FL290) and aircraft Y. Aircraft Y was expedited to FL280. Aircraft X was issued a left turn to 360 degrees. Aircraft X received an RA at the time of the event.

Title: ZID CTLR EXPERIENCED OPERROR AT FL290 DURING IN-TRAIL VECTORING PROCS FOR CVG.
Narrative: ACFT X WAS ASSIGNED A HDG FOR IN-TRAIL SPACING TO CVG. ACFT Y WAS SBOUND AT FL290 LNDG BNA. 3 OTHER CVG ARRS WERE IN FRONT OF ACFT X WITH ACFT Z ON A VECTOR FOR SPACING AT 260 KTS, WHOM ACFT X WOULD FOLLOW. ACFT XX WAS A LUK ARR FROM THE W WHO WAS DSNDED TO FL270 UNDER ACFT ZZ, ANOTHER BNA ARR AT FL280 IN FRONT OF ACFT Y. ACFT XX WAS BTWN ACFT Z AND ACFT X, WITH ENOUGH SPACE BTWN ACFT Z AND ACFT X, ACFT X WAS ISSUED A 70 DEG HDG (APPROX 60 DEG TURN) AND SLOWED TO 260 KTS TO STAY IN LINE. WAS THEN TURNED BACK ON THE ARR BEHIND THE ACFT X IN FRONT OF HIM. CONFLICT ALERT ACTIVATED BTWN ACFT X (FL290) AND ACFT Y. ACFT Y WAS EXPEDITED TO FL280. ACFT X WAS ISSUED A L TURN TO 360 DEGS. ACFT X RECEIVED AN RA AT THE TIME OF THE EVENT.
