Narrative:
Flight plan was to lake elmo, mn. (ZID). Contacted san angelo FSS for WX brief and tfr status of P-49. Was advised P-49 was expanded. Took off and climbed to 8500 ft on a VFR flight to independence, ks, for refueling stop. Passed austin, tx, just to the west and then flew east of I-35 starting to get clearance for going around P-49. I was using GPS for navigation as well as visual ground reference. Proceeded on a northeast heading approximately 15-20 mi east of I-35, watched temple go by to the west of my position and then picked up waco. Kept waco well to the west at 17-18 mi. When abeam waco, I contacted waco approach to obtain a flight following frequency for ZFW. I wanted to proceed through dfw class D airspace because I couldn't climb over it. When contacting waco they asked me to repeat my call sign twice. Then waco requested me to land at waco regional airport. Said I had been requested to land. My radar position at the time was 18 mi ene of waco. Landed and was interviewed by FAA representative and another agent, and then released once he looked at the aircraft. FAA representative told me I penetrated P-49 at temple, tx, went inside P-49 5 mi and then turned back out to the east at waco. My course was always straight ahead, no major turns other than to stay on GPS heading, well east of waco.
