Narrative:

The HS25 was on a visual approach to runway 35. I had a crj ready for takeoff on runway 32. My instinct said not to clear the crj for takeoff, so I didn't. The HS25 attempted to land on runway 36, which intersects runway 35. Had I cleared the crj for takeoff and not caught the HS25, a runway incursion would have resulted. Our runway designations is apparently confusing to pilots since our parallel runways were renumbered. (We have a lot of these incidents.)

Title: LNK CTLR DESCRIBES NEAR LOSS OF SEPARATION BECAUSE ACFT ATTEMPTED TO LAND ON THE PARALLEL RWY.

Narrative: THE HS25 WAS ON A VISUAL APCH TO RWY 35. I HAD A CRJ READY FOR TKOF ON RWY 32. MY INSTINCT SAID NOT TO CLR THE CRJ FOR TKOF, SO I DIDN'T. THE HS25 ATTEMPTED TO LAND ON RWY 36, WHICH INTERSECTS RWY 35. HAD I CLRED THE CRJ FOR TKOF AND NOT CAUGHT THE HS25, A RWY INCURSION WOULD HAVE RESULTED. OUR RWY DESIGNATIONS IS APPARENTLY CONFUSING TO PLTS SINCE OUR PARALLEL RWYS WERE RENUMBERED. (WE HAVE A LOT OF THESE INCIDENTS.)
