Narrative:
During a quality assurance audit, quality assurance inspectors verbally reported to our supervisor aircraft XXX had a #11 tire that was worn excessively. These inspectors ordered the mechanics assigned to work the aircraft, to change the affected tire. These inspectors failed to properly document their findings.

Title: A B777 TECHNICIAN RPTS ACFT INSPECTORS FINDING A WORN MAIN GEAR TIRE BUT NOT WRITING IT UP. GAVE VERBAL RPT TO TECHNICIANS WORKING AIRPLANE.
Narrative: DURING A QUALITY ASSURANCE AUDIT, QUALITY ASSURANCE INSPECTORS VERBALLY RPTED TO OUR SUPVR ACFT XXX HAD A #11 TIRE THAT WAS WORN EXCESSIVELY. THESE INSPECTORS ORDERED THE MECHS ASSIGNED TO WORK THE ACFT, TO CHANGE THE AFFECTED TIRE. THESE INSPECTORS FAILED TO PROPERLY DOCUMENT THEIR FINDINGS.
