Narrative:

Evidence of corrosion was written up on upper wing surface. My responsibility was to buy off corrosion removal and wing of body fairing installation on job card X and non-routine inspection write-up. Upon visual inspection of effected part corrosion removal had occurred completely. Wing to body fairing was then installed. Corrosion removal was steered by an engineering authority/authorized and was signed off, with no inspection buy offs on engineering authority/authorized. I was later notified that fasteners were to be replaced after aircraft was put back in service.
