Narrative:
I was advised field was going to go 'prm' and could I perform this approach. I advised no, I could do 'ILS' or go to another airport. I was advised to continue and they would try to get me in prior to going 'prm.' I was vectored to the ILS, completed the approach and landed. While being vectored for approach I was requested to call the supervisor. He was very polite and advised next time if I could not comply with prm request to obtain a slot time in advance. He advised I was not alone and that even air carrier's were sometimes troubled. I thanked him for his assistance.
