Narrative:
A problem concerning an airworthiness directive was brought to my attention by my supervisor, discovered by maintenance records. On feb/sun/04, the airworthiness directive was issued for aircraft X. I accomplished this airworthiness directive. After reading the description and inspection of airworthiness directive I idented the front spar and fittings in figure #2 as aluminum. According to the description on page 1, it said that inspection to bolts were not necessary. I was misinformed as to what we were looking at and this just issued was not aware of the inspection. This airworthiness directive has been accomplished and verified spar as graphic. The airworthiness directive has been revised and airworthiness directive awareness taken.
