Narrative:

While taxiing from the line at ord and transitioning to the lead-in line for gate X, aircraft was stopped abruptly due to a ramp baggage cart's rapid encroachment. Consequently, flight attendant X received an injury to her head after sustaining a fall. Paramedics were summoned at my request due to the obvious trauma to her forehead and the nature of the injury. Guideman witnessed the incident, however, neither he nor this flight crew was able to identify the suspect baggage worker, as he quickly made a 180 degree turn and left the area. Flight attendant supervisor was notified and upon arrival at the aircraft was briefed accordingly. Paramedics treated flight attendant and she subsequently left the aircraft.
