Narrative:
Upon taking runway for takeoff, dtw operations contacted cockpit on communication #2 and informed crew of a mistake in cargo load. Load was 400 pounds less than originally calculated. Crew returned to gate and received proper paperwork for weight and balance and added 400 pounds of ballast. If not corrected, flight would have been out of center of gravity for takeoff.
