Narrative:
In cruise to balance wing tanks, I selected xfeed from right wing to left engine. The engine ran out of gas on approach. I forgot to switch back to the normal fuel position. I completed the approach and landing on 1 engine without difficulty. On the ground, I realized that fuel selector was on xfeed and the selected fuel tank was empty.
