Narrative:
Commuter jetway designed for smaller rj's will have a gap at the trailing edge of the jetway and the aircraft due to the jetways limited extension and swiveling capability perhaps the gap could be condoned off in some way to prevent anyone enplaning/deplaning from stepping too far aft toward the gap.

Title: ERJ170. THE ACR IS USING JETWAYS DESIGNED FOR SMALLER ACFT. THERE IS A GAP IN THE JETWAY WHERE SOMEONE COULD FALL OUT.
Narrative: COMMUTER JETWAY DESIGNED FOR SMALLER RJ'S WILL HAVE A GAP AT THE TRAILING EDGE OF THE JETWAY AND THE ACFT DUE TO THE JETWAYS LIMITED EXTENSION AND SWIVELING CAPABILITY PERHAPS THE GAP COULD BE CONDONED OFF IN SOME WAY TO PREVENT ANYONE ENPLANING/DEPLANING FROM STEPPING TOO FAR AFT TOWARD THE GAP.
