Narrative:
Tire serial numbers were checked for numbers that had a service bulletin issued against them. After tire was worn out in service. Tire shop claimed they were covered by the bulletin and should have been replaced. Upon more research found that 1 tire did not fall within serial number of bulletin.

Title: A B767-300 SVC BULLETIN WAS ACCOMPLISHED ON TIRES IN A SERIAL NUMBER BLOCK. TIRE SHOP RPTS WORN TIRES RETURNED TO SHOP SHOULD HAVE BEEN REMOVED. INSPECTOR FOUND ONLY 1 TIRE DID NOT FALL IN SERIAL NUMBER BLOCK.
Narrative: TIRE SERIAL NUMBERS WERE CHKED FOR NUMBERS THAT HAD A SVC BULLETIN ISSUED AGAINST THEM. AFTER TIRE WAS WORN OUT IN SVC. TIRE SHOP CLAIMED THEY WERE COVERED BY THE BULLETIN AND SHOULD HAVE BEEN REPLACED. UPON MORE RESEARCH FOUND THAT 1 TIRE DID NOT FALL WITHIN SERIAL NUMBER OF BULLETIN.
